PAR is beginning its annual process of committee appointments. In recent years more members have requested committee appointments than can be fulfilled, however, we still encourage members to actively participate in any committee of interest by attending meetings and participating in discussion.

Members are asked to annually request committee appointments, paying special attention to meeting conflicts during Business Meetings*. Members interested in committees with conflicting meeting times are asked to make their selections based on the compatibility of committee meeting schedules.

Please note: All requests for committee appointments must be received by July 17, 2009.

*These committees have conflicting schedules:

• Credentials and Pennsylvania REALTORS® Education Foundation
• Standard Forms Oversight and Legislative (all members of Legislative subcommittee are members of the Legislative Committee)
• REALTORS® Issues Mobilization, Equal Opportunity and Cultural Diversity and Convention & Marketing. The Local President/President Elect sessions also meet at this time.
• Professional Standards/Grievance, Commercial Investment & Industrial and Finance Committee.
