• Guy A. Matteo is a member of the Suburban West REALTORS^® Association and is an associate broker with RE/MAX Preferred in Newtown Square. He was first licensed as a salesperson in 1985 and obtained his associate broker’s license in 1989.

• On the local level, Guy served on the Board of Directors for six years and was chairman of the Legislative and RPAC Committees for a number of years. He served as the 2000 chairman of the Board of the REALTORS^® Legislative Alliance and served as a member of SRA’s Board of Directors for eleven years. He is a Trustee for the Southeast Regional Political Action Committee. In 2002, Guy was named the “REALTOR^® of the Year” by the Delaware Valley REALTORS^® Association.

• Guy has been a member of the PAR Board of Directors for the past several years and has served on the association’s Legislative, RPAC, Finance and Nominating Committees. Currently he is PAR’s President Elect. Guy served as chairman of the Governance Task Force and the Legislative Committee in recent years. He currently serves on the REALTORS^® Issues Mobilization Committee as well as the Pennsylvania REALTORS^® Education Foundation and the Executive Committee.

• Guy was the recipient of PAR’s “REALTOR^® Active in Politics” award in 1999.

• Guy was the recipient of PAR’s REALTOR^® of the Year Award in 2008.

• Active with the National Association of REALTORS^®, Guy has served as an NAR Director for the past ten years and has served on the Research, Membership Policy & Board Jurisdiction and Land Use Committees. He served as the Federal Political Coordinator (FPC) to the 7^th-PA Congressional District from 1998 through 2006. Guy served on NAR’s Issues Mobilization Committee in 2009 and will complete his term in 2010. He will also serve as a member of NAR’s Research Committee.
